JOIE DIE VIVRE

This collection is about the journey of healing, from the perspective of looking back Emphasizing the light at the end of a tunnel. In my experience separating from my trauma didn’t seem like a possibility. The paralyzing fear and doubt that accumulates when we are abused or mistreated seemed immovable. This project is about the journey of silencing the fear and doubt knowing where we are going will be better than what we’ve endured. I want to use my canvas to express the possibility there is for us after  trauma. This project is in reflection of my own journey to Curate a feeling of hope, empowerment and safety. to use my canvas to express the possibility there is for us after Trauma.

My canvas is a reflection of the transformation that is possible when we choose to heal. It is a testament to the fact that there is life beyond trauma, that there is hope beyond despair. And as I continue to create, I do so with the knowledge that my journey is far from over, but that the possibilities that lie ahead are endless.
